"I lived in Uganda for four years. When I left, I really wanted to find a way to give back to the community that meant so much to me."
Louis spent four years living in Uganda, playing football alongside local kids on dusty, rough pitches. He saw first-hand what the game means to children there — and what playing barefoot costs them. Blisters, cuts, injuries that could be avoided with something as simple as a pair of shoes.
When he came back to Belgium, Louis teamed up with his friend Julian to turn that feeling into action. Together, as two 16-year-old students, they founded Kicks for Africa Kids — a registered Belgian non-profit (ASBL) with one mission: collect shoes sitting unused in Belgian closets and get them to the kids who need them most.
The connection in Uganda runs deep. Louis's former coach there is our trusted local partner — making sure every single pair reaches the right hands. We don't just ship shoes. We ship them to people we know and trust.

Shoes are flown to Uganda via air cargo, in partnership with BXL Airlines — fast, direct, and reliable.
